tea time with lovely ladies.

i'm always up for an excuse to dress up and spend time with some of the best ladies in my life.

and we found the perfect excuse:

a tea party in honor of the royal wedding.

(which was actually a goodbye party for jessica.... but let's not bring that up. sad face.)

and the food... well that was lovely too.

 the 20-layer crepe cake i made from this tea party website. it was delish.

and we may have had a little too much tea because the party ended up with a royal wedding by us. but it was loads of fun. check out the video here.

longing...

i am loving all the spring blossoms that have popped up everywhere but i don't like when there is snow on them! poor little things. 

i took these last week when i woke up to snow on a blue skied day. luckily the snow melted quickly. and this weekend was so lovely so i'm hoping it stays this way! (although i heard rain is in the forecast).

i'm longing for more warmth&sunshine!!

pretty sure my blog has become rather boring lately.

which means my life has become rather boring since this blog is well, about my life.

but its not my fault cause you just gotta do what you gotta do & right now the things i gotta do have everything to do with work&school.

yes, i got a job. at the mall. its not too bad & i really like having some extra cash but it is keeping me busy.

and even though i feel like my brain might explode from all the end of semester work i have to do; 

i just keep telling myself that the end is near.

thank goodness

p.s. today i really wanted some random new pandora station to listen to. so i typed in 'electric blues' and ohhh baby. i'm feeling these blues. so much passion in their music&lyrics. 

well, time to finally hang up the pile of clean clothes i've been sleeping with on my bed that i've had no time to take care of since i dumped them there a few days ago.
